The Oregon Quilt Project

The Oregon Quilt Project (OQP) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to documenting, collecting, and preserving information about the quilts and quilt makers of Oregon, past and present. Starting in April 2010, the multi-year, statewide documentation survey will travel to all parts of Oregon, documenting quilts and their stories.
To learn more visit the website: oregonquiltproject.org

The OQP is seeking volunteers and participants for Documentation Days to be held around the state of Oregon. For information about documenting your quilts or volunteering, please contact Martha Spark or Bill Volckening:

Martha Spark: 541-637-5178 quiltinfo@frii.com
Bill Volckening: williamvolckening@comcast.net

Welcome to the MPS Quilt Guild!

Our purpose is to provide an opportunity for quilters to gather for inspiration, education, and fellowship.

The society supports and encourages individual growth in skill and craftsmanship. We celebrate quilting as a great American art form.

The August 24th General Meeting will feature Quilt-o and challenge works from the small quilt groups. Inspirations theme is "travel quilts".

Special thanks to Sally Hopkins for her presentation on the 2009 Houston Show and a fond farewill and best wishes to Melanie Chang. Melanie, we'll miss you!

The 2010-2011 Raffle Quilt, Metropolitan Tulip, is complete! Tickets will be available soon!

Save the date: MPS Quilt Show May 14, 2011. Guest Quilt Artist: Terry Grant!
