“Curved Nine Patch” I purchased this kit in 2017 or 2018. I decided to make it while “in between” bigger projects and I am glad that I did. It’s been a little bit since I used my light box to trace a pattern piece onto freezer paper! The project went together smoothly and I had a chance to play with some free motion quilting along the outer border where my skill level was hidden!

“Just Fun” Pieced the blocks at the last MPS Zoom Retreat. I am challenged to cut accurately while chatting unless I am using a familiar pattern. The Mariner’s Compass was perfect! I had a bundle of coordinated fabrics in my stash and used them up! The quilt will join the patio series.

“Spring” I utilized three different patterns to create a Spring-like table runner.

“Peek-a-Boo Jack” This Halloween quilt was made from a special charm pack made for Missouri Star Quilt Company. I tried a new technique of adding twill tape to the edges to reinforce the binding.

“Welcome C!” This is a “ welcome to the family” quilt for my nephew’s adopted son whom they have been fostering since birth. They shared a picture of him in cowboy get-up so the theme was set. The back is flannel. I have so far made a quilt for every great-niece/nephew who joins our family. Thanks to Dawn White for her quilt label method!

“Fly Away Home” This started out as a NICU quilt but when the first block was 16 inches square it turned into a Hopewell House quilt by making 12 bocks vs 9 blocks. I quilted it with a flannel backing.
