PTM aims to engage the textile community in a month-long festival of events.  The theme for this year’s events is Repair and Reuse. Every year in May, our Guild presents “Quilt College” for our monthly meeting.  However in 2020, we were thrown a curve ball by the world pandemic and had to cancel our meetings beginning in March.  During the next three months, the MPS Board held monthly virtual meetings to plan how the Guild could continue to meet monthly and what programs would work the best under these new circumstances.  We’ve come along way since March and the Guild has been meeting virtually beginning in June. I began to organize my many partially finished projects and committed to working on something each week. Steady progress was made towards working on something weekly.
