“All Hallows Eve” This is one of my Halloween quilts. My pictures were taken by Michelle Bellzer Frenkel. It takes 2 jellyrolls to make this quilt, one of a print and one of a background. Quilted by Nancy Stovall.

“Loops, Curves, and Lines” The Quiltfolk Manhattan Adventure Workshop was my first – loved it! Enjoyed listening to Victoria Findley Wolfe’s reflections on quilting. Used one of her templates for this quilt. Great pattern to show print designs. Free motion quilting: ditch, curves and wavy lines and circles in the circles. Backed with denim to use as an outdoor picnic quilt.

“Extra, Extra” This quilt was made from 17 extra blocks that I had leftover from a previous quilt. Quilted by Nancy Stovall

“Handmade” This lap quilt is made from a jelly roll of sewing themed fabrics in fun colors. I quilted it with my walking foot. I used painters tape to mark the large diagonal lines. Photos are by Michelle Frenkel.

“Pink Pumpkin Patch” Wanted a whimsical Halloween quilt so I made Pink Pumpkin Patch using MPS winnings and my stash. Added a ghost and the word BOO. Made the pumpkins in a variety of sizes set on a black and gray checkered background.

“Baby Quilt for Aurora Rose” I purchased the poodle fabric using a gift certificate (for the Enchanged Rose Emporium) that I received at an MPS online retreat. The backing is flannel that’s been in my stash for ~20 years. I designed the quilt on graph paper. My spouse played around with EQ8 and printed out the directions and yardage per my design. EQ8’s math matched my figures! Machine quilted on domestic machine with walking foot.

“Berried Treasure” I made this same quilt in the pink fabric colorway back in 2012. In 2015 I won a very generous piece of the blue colorway at an MPS meeting. Not until 2025 did I make the second version. I like it even better! The edge-to-edge quilting (“Embellish” by Quilts Complete) was done by Karlee Sandell. The quilt measures 68″ x 81″.
