When winter settles in and the Oregon rain taps steadily at the windows, it’s easy to feel a little tucked away from the world. That’s exactly when a gentle dose of connection—and sewing time—can feel like a gift. MPS is inviting you to join us for the 2026 Winter Blues Zoom Gathering, a virtual sewing weekend designed to bring warmth, creativity, and friendly faces right into your sewing space.
Picture this: you at your sewing machine, a favorite project under the needle, and familiar quilting friends just a screen away. There’s no agenda to follow, no pressure to be “productive,” and absolutely no fee. Come and go as it suits you. Stay in your pajamas if you like. Chat, listen, or simply sew quietly while enjoying the comforting presence of others doing the same. It’s not a class or a workshop—just a relaxed gathering of friends sharing the simple joy of stitching. Settle in for an hour or for the whole weekend—whatever feels right.
Save the date: Saturday, February 28 at 6:00 a.m. through Sunday, March 1 at 2:00 p.m. We’re asking that you register for the Winter Blues Zoom Gathering, and we’ll provide the registration link to our members in mid-February.
