Before we get too far into 2025, let’s take one more look back at 2024 with our final 25th Anniversary celebration.  On November 26th, at our General Meeting, our members revealed the final results of our 2024 Quilt Challenge.  In keeping with our anniversary focus for the year, Ruth T challenged us to make something using 25 of anything–be it 25 fabrics, 25 threads, 25 seams–you get the picture. All of our members were given a fat quarter of silver fabric to use in our challenge projects or any other way we wanted. On the late morning and early afternoon of Saturday, July 20, 2024, the lovely surroundings of Evelyn Schliffer Memorial Park in Beaverton, Oregon came alive with the vibrant colors and intricate patterns of quilts at the MPS bi-annual Outdoor Quilt Show. The quilts were gracefully hung among the trees, where they danced in the gentle breeze, creating a picturesque tapestry against the summer sky.
