Submitted by Liz M. Quilt Festival is usually held in Houston, Texas each fall. This year, due to the Covid pandemic, the quilt show was cancelled and the organization created a “virtual” event from December 3-5, 2020. Quilters submitted quilts for the regular show categories, special exhibits and contests. These quilts were organized into PDFs to view and included a full image and a detail shot of each quilt. Submitted by Liz M. 2020 is a long year! I wrote in early spring about struggling to be productive in my sewing room during the lockdown. I puttered around with masks, tidying my sewing room, purging my stash and getting organized. One area I worked on was my UFO projects. I have had four tops quilted and they are now bound. PTM aims to engage the textile community in a month-long festival of events.  The theme for this year’s events is Repair and Reuse.
