Every year in May, our Guild presents “Quilt College” for our monthly meeting.  However in 2020, we were thrown a curve ball by the world pandemic and had to cancel our meetings beginning in March.  During the next three months, the MPS Board held monthly virtual meetings to plan how the Guild could continue to meet monthly and what programs would work the best under these new circumstances.  We’ve come along way since March and the Guild has been meeting virtually beginning in June. Submitted by Liz M. In November 2019, I wrote about my works in progress (WIP). At that time, I had 8 completed tops that I pulled out of my sewing room closet. I began to organize my many partially finished projects and committed to working on something each week. Steady progress was made towards working on something weekly. Submitted by Liz M. The Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show is held the second Saturday of July each year. This year, July 11, marked the 45th anniversary of the show. Due to COVID-19 cancellations, the show used the internet and social media to hold the show virtually. A virtual show is not the same as an in-person show but the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show and The Stitchin’ Post teams put a lot of work into sharing quilts and information with quilters around the world.
