Did you know that there is an All Pacific Northwest Shop Hop beginning today?  I didn’t!  But I haven’t been paying much attention to the world around me. This shop hop runs from April 1 through May 31, 2025 and features many quilt and fabric stores throughout all of Oregon and Washington.  You can find a shop hop magazine at any participating shop.  The magazine contains maps, free patterns, passports, and everything else you need to get going. The Sunshine and Stitches Shop Hop began June 2 and continues through Saturday June 16, 2018.  Fifteen shops are involved and are located from Vancouver, Washington through Portland Metro and south to Salem, Oregon. Many young girls (and a few boys) who grew up to be quiltmakers learned how to sew at the knee of their mother or grandmother.
