Quilters, the countdown is on! Tuesday, August 26, 2025 is the big night for the Metropolitan Patchwork Society’s annual Silent Auction, and you do not want to miss it. This is our end-of-summer tradition—a lively evening where the thrill of bidding meets the joy of finding treasures for your sewing room (and maybe a few surprises you didn’t even know you needed). Yes! Our annual MPS Silent Auction will be held this coming Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at the Bethel Congregational Church in Beaverton, Oregon.  Doors will open at 6:30 PM (and not before) as we welcome members and non-members alike into the room for some lively bidding on many great items.  Heather and Cydney work all year toward this evening as they gather fine fabrics and other quilty paraphernalia, as well as a few things that aren’t necessarily quilt related but can make quilting more enjoyable (wine, anyone?). Our 2023 Silent Auction is in the books and we are deeming it a success!  Over 100 quilters came ready to bid with the intention of taking home something they loved.  And with over 190 items from which to choose, they had no trouble finding something just for them.  From set-up to bidding to closing to checkout, everything ran like a well-oiled machine.
