This auction item was handmade by one of our member’s father-in-law.  Unfortunately for her, she had to leave it behind when she relocated to another city.  But fortunately for you, it will be up for bid at our annual MPS Silent Auction. Who doesn’t love a good quilt kit?  Or a bin full of pre-cut scraps just waiting for someone to do something wonderful with it?  Here’s a couple of examples of the kits and scraps that are available at the MPS Silent Auction.  Many sewists have also picked up quilt tops that never made it into the final stages of quiltdom and were just waiting for someone to come along and turn it into a charming quilt. Our annual Silent Auction is coming on August 22, 2023!  That’s the night of our regular Guild meeting, so we’ll start it at 6:30 PM.  It will be held at the Bethel Congregational Church which is where our meetings are held.  You can find out more details by clicking here.
