Due to the hard work of our MPS Program Chairs, we have many fabulous workshops to offer in 2017: In January, we are offering a workshop by Sam Hunter.  She spoke to us in October and inspired us so much, we asked her to come back and lead a workshop.  She’ll be teaching us how to make her Dingbat Quilt, and will have the pattern for each student at the workshop which is included in the fee!  No need to purchase the pattern before class. Sidnee is an artist who uses fabric and fiber as her medium, and who, in 2007, developed her own unique method of applique to make quilts.  Using her photographs, computer processing software, fabric and free-motion sewing, she creates beautiful art quilts.  While her earlier art quilts were more traditional and abstract in design, she considers her current work to be more representational of what she sees in her photos.
