Netflix is dropping a short documentary on Friday, May 16, 2025 called “The Quilters”.  The story is about men who are housed in a maximum-security prison in Missouri who design and make quilts.  These quilts are then given to foster children in the area.  The documentary was released in June of 2024, and has won several awards. Now that the MPS Quilt Show has wrapped up, it’s time to turn our creative focus toward the 2025 MPS Quilt Challenge! This year’s theme is the word “Grateful.” What does grateful mean to you? Did you know that there is an All Pacific Northwest Shop Hop beginning today?  I didn’t!  But I haven’t been paying much attention to the world around me. This shop hop runs from April 1 through May 31, 2025 and features many quilt and fabric stores throughout all of Oregon and Washington.  You can find a shop hop magazine at any participating shop.  The magazine contains maps, free patterns, passports, and everything else you need to get going.
